What is proposed
The ASTRA project aims to develop an innovative technological solution for assessing behavioral and psychosocial competencies (soft skills) to provide a holistic understanding of the individual, thereby enabling a decision support system (DSS) for industrial companies in talent management, specifically in the areas of recruitment, management, and development. The main objective is to develop a human-centered approach, focusing on the traits that shape social behaviors and value-based choices. By analyzing the skills possessed and motivations, this approach outlines an individual’s profile in terms of their ability to adapt to new market demands and technologies, as well as their capacity for original thinking—factors that enable organizational development across the entire value chain. To achieve this objective, the project aims to develop an Artificial Intelligence engine that, thanks to its capabilities for complex information analysis—both from an analytical and inferential perspective—will enable problem-solving and the automation of highly efficient production and innovation processes in the assessment and management of human capital within industrial enterprises. Currently, this area suffers from various shortcomings and requires a significant expenditure of resources in terms of human capital.
The ASTRA project aims to achieve the following results:
1. define a soft skills assessment framework that integrates existing scientific methodologies with new lines of research, bringing the various approaches together into a single solution;
2. Develop an innovative technological tool for talent assessment based on a holistic, multi-criteria, and multi-sensory approach for the acquisition and management of human capital;
3. Develop an innovative technological tool for defining the characteristics of the role that the talent is expected to fill;
4. Develop an innovative technological tool for assessing affinities in order to verify the alignment of the talent’s profile with the role;
5. Develop an innovative cloud-based software platform for decision support (DSS) and the automation of the talent assessment and management process, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and, through the development of complex algorithms and the use of sensors, enabling ASTRA to enhance its sensitivity even on a physical level.
