Within EHT, the R&DI – Research, Development & Innovation Business Unit serves as the project and technology engine for industrial research, experimental development, and applied innovation initiatives. The BU works on multidisciplinary projects that integrate digital, scientific, environmental, territorial, and technology transfer expertise, with the goal of transforming research into concrete, measurable, and high-impact solutions.

The selected candidates will be assigned to the PRUNE project, an initiative funded under the RETI – Puglia program, with EHT as the lead organization and the participation of public and private partners. The project aims to create an innovative digital platform for the sustainable management of marine-coastal environments, with a particular focus on the management of Posidonia oceanica residues, through data lakes, field observations, open data, marine weather forecasts, predictive models, and Artificial Intelligence components.

The team’s planned operational headquarters is in Lecce, in the heart of Salento, a strategic location for fostering connections between research, business, the environment, and innovation.

EHT S.C.p.A. is seeking an R&D Project Manager to join the R&D Business Unit for the operational and managerial coordination of the PRUNE project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the progress of project activities, ensuring alignment between scientific objectives, technological development, administrative constraints, timelines, budgets, and expected results. The project involves industrial, scientific, and local partners, and therefore requires a candidate capable of navigating complex and multidisciplinary contexts effectively.
The R&D Project Manager will serve as a liaison between technical teams, researchers, partners, stakeholders, and administrative functions, helping to transform a research and development project into a structured, measurable, and impact-oriented operational process.


’s Key Responsibilities: The candidate will coordinate the activities of the team and involved partners, monitoring project progress, KPIs, milestones, and planned deliverables. They will be responsible for managing technical and administrative documentation, supporting reporting, monitoring risks, and proactively managing any project changes.
They will also be responsible for facilitating communication among individuals with diverse expertise, translating technical, scientific, and managerial requirements into clear and shared work plans. The role requires organizational skills, a big-picture perspective, and attention to detail, combined with the sensitivity necessary to operate in a research environment, where objectives may evolve based on experimental results.

Ideal Profile
We are looking for someone with experience managing funded projects, preferably in the fields of research, development, innovation, or digital transformation. A degree in industrial engineering or a related field is preferred; certifications such as PMP or similar will be considered a plus.
Strong skills in planning, monitoring, document management, KPI analysis, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams are essential. Interpersonal skills are equally important: clear communication, mediation among different stakeholders, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to keep the project focused on its objectives.
