Within EHT, the R&DI – Research, Development & Innovation Business Unit serves as the project and technology engine for industrial research, experimental development, and applied innovation initiatives. The BU works on multidisciplinary projects that integrate digital, scientific, environmental, territorial, and technology transfer expertise, with the goal of transforming research into concrete, measurable, and high-impact solutions.

The selected candidates will be assigned to the PRUNE project, an initiative funded under the RETI – Puglia program, with EHT as the lead organization and the participation of public and private partners. The project aims to create an innovative digital platform for the sustainable management of marine-coastal environments, with a particular focus on the management of Posidonia oceanica residues, through data lakes, field observations, open data, marine weather forecasts, predictive models, and Artificial Intelligence components.

The team’s planned operational headquarters is in Lecce, in the heart of Salento, a strategic location for fostering connections between research, business, the environment, and innovation.

Role EHT S.C.p.A. is seeking an Innovation Manager & UX Research Analyst to join the R&DI Business Unit and contribute to the PRUNE project.
The role will involve connecting research, technology, users, and stakeholders, contributing to the validation of the digital platform and the commercialization of project outcomes. In a project like PRUNE, innovation is not just about technological development, but also about the ability to build solutions that are truly useful for those who live in, manage, and use marine and coastal environments.
The candidate will work on stakeholder engagement, needs analysis, user experience evaluation, and translating the collected feedback into design guidelines for the technical and scientific team.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will conduct UX research, interviews, user listening sessions, usability tests, and user needs analysis. They will be involved in designing prototype validation workflows, collecting and interpreting qualitative and quantitative feedback, and supporting the development team in translating this evidence into concrete improvements to the platform.
At the same time, they will contribute to defining technology transfer strategies, promoting results, engaging stakeholders, and communicating innovation. The role therefore requires a combination of design sensibility, a business-oriented vision, analytical skills, and strong empathy toward users and the relevant communities.

Ideal Profile
We are looking for someone with expertise in Design Thinking, UX research, innovation process analysis, and stakeholder management. Experience in digital projects, R&D contexts, open innovation, technology transfer, or the development of user-centered solutions is highly valued.
In addition to methodological skills, the ability to listen, communicate, synthesize information, and collaborate with technical and scientific teams is essential. The ideal candidate can observe user needs, interpret them methodically, and transform them into useful insights for improving products, services, and processes.
