Within EHT, the R&DI – Research, Development & Innovation Business Unit serves as the project and technology engine for industrial research, experimental development, and applied innovation initiatives. The BU works on multidisciplinary projects that integrate digital, scientific, environmental, territorial, and technology transfer expertise, with the goal of transforming research into concrete, measurable, and high-impact solutions.

The selected candidates will be assigned to the PRUNE project, an initiative funded under the RETI – Puglia program, with EHT as the lead organization and the participation of public and private partners. The project aims to create an innovative digital platform for the sustainable management of marine-coastal environments, with a particular focus on the management of Posidonia oceanica residues, through data lakes, field observations, open data, marine weather forecasts, predictive models, and Artificial Intelligence components.

The team’s planned operational headquarters is in Lecce, in the heart of Salento, a strategic location for fostering connections between research, business, the environment, and innovation.

Position EHT S.C.p.A. is seeking a Full-stack Developer and Functional Analyst to join the R&DI Business Unit and contribute to the development of the digital platform envisioned by the PRUNE project.
The candidate will be involved in the design, implementation, and validation of web applications and software components to support the sustainable management of marine and coastal environments. The role is ideal for someone who wants to work in a dynamic environment where software development, requirements analysis, rapid prototyping, and technological experimentation are constantly intertwined.
Within the project, the candidate will contribute to the development of digital tools capable of making complex environmental data, predictive models, early warning systems, and useful information accessible to operators, stakeholders, and those involved in land management.


Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end development of application components, handling both front-end and back-end tasks. They will work on creating intuitive and responsive interfaces, developing APIs, managing server-side logic, and integrating with databases, external services, and data analytics modules.
An important aspect of the role will be functional analysis: the candidate must understand the needs of researchers, users, and stakeholders, translating them into technical requirements and application features. They will also be involved in testing, debugging, evolutionary maintenance, and improving prototypes based on feedback gathered during the validation phases.

Ideal Profile
We are looking for someone with experience in full-stack development and familiarity with modern tech stacks, such as React or Angular for the front end and Node.js, Python, or Go for the back end. Key qualities include the ability to work independently, manage the entire software development lifecycle, focus on rapid prototyping, and maintain high-quality code.
Experience in innovation, applied research, prototype development, data-driven applications, or complex digital platforms will be viewed favorably. In addition to technical skills, the ability to listen, problem-solving skills, collaboration, and a willingness to engage with non-technical stakeholders are essential.
