What is draft
The SPIFFERO project is to build an integrated platform for the management of environmental risks and emergencies related to toxic releases in urban and suburban areas.
What is proposed
SPIFFERO aims to intervene in a well-defined scenario of emergency due to toxic releases into the atmosphere, involving citizens of the affected area, mayors, civil defense and ARPA. The composition of the project partnership, the direct involvement of ARPA and Civil Defense as third parties (consultants) in the project, and agreements with: Municipality of Palermo, ARPA Sicily, Regional Directorate of Civil Protection Sicily, Civil Protection Municipality of Palermo, allow to close the production/technological chain necessary for the realization of the multi-platform useful for the management of information and processes to be implemented in case of emergencies.
