Innovative Technologies and Models for Risk Mitigation in Critical Infrastructure
What is " Targeted Topics"?
The Targeted Themes project aims to provide an innovative contribution on the complex problem of safety of critical transportation infrastructure in relation to rapid kinematic landslide risk, in order to define an innovative procedure (developed through physically based approaches and advanced numerical models) for predicting the risk level of transportation infrastructure located in areas susceptible to landslides and landslides in the Calabria and Sicily regions (exportable to other similar contexts in the national territory). The research aims to develop a smart system for real-time risk and emergency management and land-use planning.
