What is proposed
EHT is developing a software platform that facilitates the federation of logistics SMEs, enabling them to compete in a global market alongside the major players in this sector. The platform does not replace the information systems currently in use by the SMEs participating in the federation project, but rather offers interoperability and orchestration services designed to enhance the overall performance of a consortium of small transport companies. The platform’s value is demonstrated through the implementation of several value-added vertical services ranging from the digitization of transport documentation, to cold chain management, to the transport of dangerous goods, to the optimization of multimodal logistics, to the management of fleets shared among multiple companies, to reverse logistics, and even to dynamic freight transport scheduling using innovative protocols such as the Physical Internet.
